Weather and climate in Pattaya

• Private Transport-You would not need a car when you are in Pattaya. Color-coded buses, which are extremely affordable, connect all parts of the city.

• Motorbikes, Bike taxis, and Cabs-There are many places to hire a bicycle or motorbike/bike taxis which will help you travel within the city at your leisure. Apart from these, there are also many taxi services available.

Work visas in Pattaya

Obtaining a work permit in Pattaya has been made easier with new rules. Please find the procedure explained below.

A. The applicant has to get a non-immigrant work visa. The basic eligibility criteria are that the applicant should have an offer for work in Thailand. The offer letter together with the employer’s request has to be submitted.

B. The applicant has to submit the following to get a work permit:

1. Passport copies
2. Non Immigrant visa
3. Departure card TM6.
4. Degree certificates
5. Transcript (signed)
6. Licenses held by the applicant
7. Resume
8. Photos
9. Marriage registration certificate ( If you are traveling with spouse)

C. In case the work permit is provided by the employer the following are needed:

1. Commercial registration department certificate of the employer-company
2. Certified shareholders list
3. Factory license
4. VAT number
5. Withholding tax
6. Social security payment proof

Once the work permit is submitted with required proofs and payment of an appropriate fee, the work permit will be given within a reasonable time frame.

D. Once the work permit is acquired, you must get the Tax ID card from the revenue department of Thailand.
